I really wanted to dive in and give lots of unasked for "advice". However, I knew I had to let him find his own way, so I took a "hands off" approach. He got a good job in the end, which he enjoys. To be honest there's not always too much you can do to help someone get a job, at the end of the day it's down to them. But as you say we can be there for them and offer support when it's needed.
