		<description>I had an epiphany today: maturity is being able to listen to job interview tips without getting depressed.

I think job interviews perpetuate a society based on deceit. It gets me down. I&#039;m amazed that more people aren&#039;t making this same complaint, and can only assume that most people feel that there isn&#039;t anything dishonest about barefaced lies because they feel that everyone knows they&#039;re lies - the rationalisation being that if everyone knows that a statement is a lie, then it&#039;s not a lie.

I will make one comment, however: the last job interview I went to skipped all the traditional questions and focused on a test of the skills required by the position. Now THAT&#039;S my kind of job interview. The person interviewing me (now my supervisor) was 25 at the time. Glimpses of a new trend?</description>
